About The Position

Acts as primary liaison between Equipment Services Fleet Management Information Systems (EQS FMIS) group and multiple business units within EQS statewide. Performs research and analysis to devise strategies for coordination of information needed on business and service requests. Maintains the Fuel Hub environment: access levels, building inventory and reporting. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures. Requirements

  • Knowledge of methodologies and techniques for systems analysis and design, business process modeling, requirements gathering, quality assurance, and software development.
  • Knowledge of policies, procedures, programs and business goals.
  • Proficiency with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK).
  • Knowledge of the systems development life cycle, particularly with regard to requirements gathering and testing.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and Project Management software tracking.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with agency staff, end-users and vendors.
  • Transferring end user needs into systems requirements.
  • Developing comprehensive test cases to ensure the team implements applications of the highest quality.

  • Must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks.
  • Maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training.
  • Maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11) if operating a personally owned vehicle on state business.
  • Successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the liaison between customers and the team's application developers in gathering and documenting software functional and reporting requirements for new and existing applications managed within EQS FMIS Team.
  • Documents existing business processes and flow charts those to become the "to-be" processes in concert with the FMIS Development Staff for any new and/existing applications.
  • Responsible (through formal methodological testing) for ensuring and verifying all functional and reporting requirements have been met as per the documented requirements and the identification of any defects in the application are documented, communicated and prioritized effectively to the development staff for resolution prior to production deployment releases.
  • Act as Project Manager for all FMIS initiated projects to include but not limited to: Coordinating and leading project meetings, add, and modify tasks and timelines within each project.
  • Maintain Project Management Application for project scopes and timelines.
  • Escalates timeline stalls as needed for any task or project.
