About The Position

The Business Analyst, Procurement Services supports the procurement team by delivering data-driven insights, managing key contract and vendor documentation, and helping streamline procurement processes. This role is well-suited to an early-career professional who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to build a foundation in procurement operations. The Business Analyst will work cross-functionally with category managers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support sourcing decisions, contract compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, procurement, supply chain, finance, or a related analytical role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, or related field

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools is a plus.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to support research, data analysis, drafting RFP content, and process documentation
  • Familiarity with contract management, RFP processes, or vendor management is preferred but not required
  • Interest in process improvement and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, RPA platforms) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards to track procurement KPIs, spend trends, and savings initiatives
  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities, vendor performance issues, and process inefficiencies
  • Support contract management activities, including tracking key terms, renewal dates, and compliance requirements
  • Maintain and organize contract repositories and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Conduct vendor performance analysis, including scorecards and comparative spend/quality assessments
  • Assist in the creation and administration of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including drafting requirements, distributing to vendors, and compiling responses
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and assist in implementing tools or workflows to increase efficiency
  • Document current-state procurement processes and support the design of improved workflows
  • Collaborate with category managers, finance, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and support procurement initiatives
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations and summaries for leadership review
