About The Position

FormFactor is seeking a Business Analyst (Operations Planning) to compute, analyze, and interpret complex data to produce relevant reports and dashboards. This role will use marketing forecasts and process capacity models to predict required investments for new product ramps and support business growth plans. The analyst will understand and model manufacturing processes for FormFactor’s MEMS probe cards, probe cards for logic devices, and fine pitch bump wafer testing. Responsibilities include collecting customer needs data, validating growth business plans, estimating return on investments, analyzing customer-related data to ensure projected investments improve gross margin and profit, documenting operational procedures, managing capacity ramp implementations, and monitoring gross margin impacts.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 2 years of experience as a Lean Specialist, Industrial Engineer, or related occupation
  • 1 year of prior work experience using Lean manufacturing techniques including Value stream mapping and Pareto analysis to identify and address bottlenecks in supply chain.
  • 1 year of prior work experience using MS Excel power query, pivot tables, and macros to collect data, validate growth business plans, and estimate investment returns.
  • 1 year of prior work experience using Power BI functions including DAX query view and model view to link databases and creating dashboards to track KPIs.
  • 1 year of prior work experience building SQL queries to link WIP and Inventory data to support the MRP.
  • 1 year of prior work experience using the ERP software including Oracle or SAP to analyze part consumption for SIOP planning.
  • 1 year of prior work experience using Six sigma methodology and tools including DMAIC, PFMEA, KAIZEN, and Fishbone diagrams to perform root-cause analysis and investigate inventory discrepancies.

Responsibilities

  • Compute, analyze, and interpret complex and disparate data to produce relevant and consumable data reports and dashboards.
  • Use marketing forecasts and process capacity models to predict required investments for new product ramps and to support business growth plans.
  • Understand and model the manufacturing process for FormFactor’s MEMS probe cards, probe cards used for logic devices, suitable for flip chips for microprocessors and SoC devices, and the fine pitch bump wafer test.
  • Collect data about customer needs and validate growth business plans and estimate return on investments.
  • Analyze customer-related data and ensure that projected investments improve gross margin and profit.
  • Document operational procedures and manage implementation of capacity ramps and monitor gross margin impacts as projects progress.
