About The Position

Business Analyst, Mid The Opportunity: Do you want to use your financial and data analysis skills to help the Navy get the most out of its funding? When it comes to efficiently executing government budgets, you know there is more to it than just obligations and expenditures. That's why we need you, a business analyst who can help to execute Navy funding to ensure capabilities are delivered to the warfighter. As a business analyst on our team, you’ll ensure funding is efficiently executed, support budget development, and help inform the yearly spend plan process for our Navy clients. You will help manage millions of dollars that have been allocated to support programmatic requirements. From conducting financial analysis using Microsoft Excel to presenting financial reports in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau, you'll help program managers and senior leadership to plan and field systems on time. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with financial analysis or data analytics
  • Experience visualizing data to identify or communicate key insights
  • Experience querying or analyzing data to answer questions and solve problems
  • Experience in providing thoughtful insight into the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) funding process
  • Knowledge of business analysis or business intelligence tools or approaches
  • Knowledge of core competencies, including budget and spend plan development
  • Ability to thrive in guiding government clients to meet future visions to support the warfighter
  • Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition
  • Experience with management and business development
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology or Analytics preferred; Master’s degree in Analytics a plus
