About The Position

This position will be focused on application development projects using Java and PrimeReact on a Kubernetes platform. The selected candidate will serve as the critical link between business stakeholders and the technical engineering team, ensuring requirements are effectively translated into scalable, modern web applications.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10–12 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in enterprise Java/React ecosystems.
  • Deep foundational understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), APIs, Microservices, and Modern UI/UX principles.
  • Exceptional capability with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Exceptional capability with Jira.
  • Exceptional capability with Confluence.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate directly with non-technical business users.

Nice To Haves

  • Business Analyst certifications.
  • Jira experience.
  • ADA compliance experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops, interviews, and storyboarding sessions to identify business objectives, functionality gaps, and business processes.
  • Provide system analysis to identify integrations and assess impacts to existing processes and functions across teams.
  • Assist the Project Manager with creating work breakdown structures from requirements, entering and managing tasks in Jira, and taking notes during meetings.
  • Act as the primary communication channel between operational teams, subject matter experts (SMEs), and development teams.
  • Translate business requirements into User Acceptance Testing (UAT) criteria.
  • Execute test plans and validate system fixes.
  • Coordinate resolution of UAT and testing feedback with developers.
  • Incorporate ADA compliance into the UAT and QA process.
  • Oversee the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including system specification preparation, final deployment, and end-user training.
  • Lead software demonstrations and training sessions.
  • Draft user-facing documentation, knowledge articles, and how-to videos.
  • Assist with customer support related to policy, process, and how-to questions.
  • Own and refine the product backlog.
  • Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and mapping for Java backend services and React frontend components.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on system architecture, API integrations, and database design.
  • Help stakeholders understand application capabilities.
