About The Position

The Business Analyst Internship supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will support financial reviews, time reporting, invoicing, and auditing activities. They will also support request for proposals (RFPs) for contracts and subcontracts, the development and processing of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and the administration of teaming agreements and various contract and subcontract instruments. Processing Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) and GSA Invoicing, assisting with General Ledger Reconciliation, and supporting process improvements and special projects are also key responsibilities. The intern will provide support to business and operations units in the formation of financial reports, contracts, and subcontracts, including participating in audits, proposal development, subcontract review, and/or subcontract partnering, and risk assessment processes. They will advise the team on the contractual significance of proposed actions, review and process proposal requests and contract documents, and prepare and provide contractual communications and notices. Additionally, the intern will review and process Teammate and subcontract agreements, amendments, invoices, and communications and notices. They will coordinate with other project team members to identify customer-related actions or inactions that result in constructive contract changes, and coordinate with Legal, Insurance, Risk, Project Controls, and Business Office on contractual terms and risk issues. Reviewing project correspondence to ensure clients’ rights are protected and that it is consistent with the terms of the prime contract and associated subcontracts, developing contract summaries, and supporting compliance with vital records and relevant correspondence for reporting, contract audit, claims, litigation, and contract close out are also part of the role. The intern will track proposal due dates and develop and maintain schedules with task order teams, and maintain document files in accordance with Policies and Procedures for internal and external audits. The duration of this internship will be six months from the start date.

Requirements

  • Must have an Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
  • In your final year of obtaining a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a Computer Science related field, or
  • A recent graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a Computer Science related field.
