About The Position

The Commercial Analytics & Sales Operations Intern will support key initiatives across sales analytics, data quality, and incentive modeling. This role provides hands‑on exposure to Power BI, Salesforce, and Variable Compensation processes, while working closely with cross‑functional partners in Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, and Analytics. The internship offers an opportunity to develop practical technical skills and gain real‑world experience in a collaborative, business‑focused environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, data analysis)
  • Working knowledge of or interest in Power BI
  • Basic experience with Python (data manipulation or analysis preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data modeling or business intelligence concepts
  • Interest in sales analytics, compensation modeling, or commercial operations

Responsibilities

  • Assist with building, validating, and enhancing Power BI datasets, models, and reports
  • Support data transformations, measures, and visualizations used for sales and performance reporting
  • Help document data logic and reporting assumptions to ensure consistency and transparency
  • Perform data quality reviews and cleanup activities within Salesforce
  • Identify and correct data inconsistencies, missing fields, and duplication issues
  • Support ongoing data governance efforts by following defined standards and processes
  • Assist with data preparation and validation for incentive and variable compensation programs
  • Support modeling and analysis to ensure accurate calculations and fair application of compensation rules
  • Help reconcile compensation data and flag discrepancies for review
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, and Analytics teams on assigned projects
  • Participate in team meetings and provide status updates on assigned tasks
  • Contribute to process improvement and documentation efforts as needed
