Job Summary Iron Mountain is seeking a diligent, analytical, and motivated Business Analyst Intern to join our Public Sector team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting strategic industry research and performing data analysis to support our United States Public Sector business initiatives. You will work within a collaborative environment that bridges the gap between our Strategic Analysis and Contracts Management teams. This position provides unique exposure to cross-functional stakeholders, offering a comprehensive view of how data integrity and market research drive success in a complex regulatory environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree and be a Rising Senior (expected graduation in 2027)
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without restriction (visa sponsorship is not available for this role).
  • Educational Foundation: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Data Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to manage data sets and perform detailed research with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency with Google Workspace (G Suite), Tableau for data visualization, and Python for data analysis and automation, database creation, and management (SQL)
  • Proactive Mindset: A self-starter approach with the ability to work independently, maintain organization, and remain adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across sales, legal, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales Opportunity Research: Utilize research tools to identify new government solicitations and assist the sales team in identifying potential opportunities within the United States Public Sector.
  • Optimize Operational Processes: Analyze and recommend process changes for the Contracts Management lifecycle to improve department efficiency and document organizational best practices.
  • Drive Data Integrity: Audit and compare mission-critical data across internal systems to ensure the accuracy and alignment of public sector accounts and contract repositories.
