About The Position

Xcel Energy is modernizing the systems and processes behind every customer interaction through its multi-year CIS Modernization Program. Within the program, the Customer Core organization is structured into functional towers that each own a major area of the customer lifecycle. This role sits on the Credit & Collections functional tower, which is responsible for the processes and system capabilities that manage customer credit, billing collections, payment arrangements, deposits, and past-due accounts. The Business Analyst Intern will support the Credit & Collections tower within the Business Transformation team, working alongside experienced business functional consultants and transformation leaders. The intern will help gather and document business requirements, support functional design workshops, and contribute to the analysis that shapes the future-state solution. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn business analysis on a large-scale enterprise transformation while building domain knowledge in the utility industry. The position is based in Boulder, Colorado, with a hybrid schedule and occasional collaboration at the program's Denver work location.
