STSS, a Sault Tribe Inc. (“STI Federal”) company, is searching for a dynamic and skilled Business Analyst II to be a key part of our expanding team! Requirements

  • Ability to analyze complex business workflows and translate them into clear technical requirements and user stories.
  • Ability to perform manual, automated, regression, and performance testing within an Agile SDLC environment.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues during data loads, test execution, and system updates.
  • Proficiency in test case development, version control systems, and software development lifecycle tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar).
  • Proficiency in communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical groups.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience in software testing (manual and/or automated) and/or business analysis within an Agile environment.
  • Experience developing test scripts and documenting results.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance (or specify if another level is required).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DoD or federal IT programs.
  • Experience with regression and performance testing frameworks.
  • Experience with enterprise workflow or process improvement initiatives.
  • Active (within the last two years) DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality manual testing execution and documentation.
  • Develop and execute manual test scripts and provide clear, detailed test results.
  • Build and maintain automated testing solutions.
  • Create automated test scripts, perform automated test execution, and produce comprehensive result reports.
  • Strengthen system reliability through regression testing.
  • Conduct both manual and automated regression tests and report consolidated findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper documentation and version control.
  • Use government provided version control systems and repositories to store, track, and manage all test scripts and QA documentation.
  • Enhance system performance visibility.
  • Perform performance testing of IPT systems and provide detailed analysis of results.
  • Maintain clear communication and operational monitoring.
  • Provide daily email updates on prior night framework loads, identify any data gathering errors, and deliver immediate support to resolve issues.
  • Support Agile SDLC activities and business process improvements.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders, developers, and Business Champions to gather requirements, document workflows, create user stories, manage backlogs, support UAT, and assist in sprint coordination.
