About The Position

The Business Analyst II plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions within the organization. This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to ensure that projects align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable value. The analyst collaborates closely with stakeholders across departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and to support data-driven decision-making. By translating complex business challenges into clear, actionable insights, the Business Analyst II facilitates effective communication between technical teams and business units. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis or a similar role within a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and process modeling techniques.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with business analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Communication skills are essential for facilitating collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
• Proficiency in documentation and modeling tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies supports iterative development and continuous feedback integration, enhancing project adaptability.
• Data analysis and visualization skills empower the analyst to present insights that drive informed decision-making and strategic planning.

Nice To Haves

• Professional certification such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Background in a specific industry such as finance, healthcare, or technology is advantageous.
• Advanced skills in SQL or data querying to support data analysis tasks.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process optimization and enhanced business performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented accurately.
• Develop and maintain process models, workflows, and use cases to support solution design and implementation.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather feedback, validate requirements, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support user acceptance testing by creating test cases and coordinating testing activities to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders, highlighting risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
