About The Position

Centene is seeking a Business Analyst II Provider Data Operations to join their team. This role involves performing various analyses and interpretations to link business needs and objectives for assigned functions. The analyst will map provider source documents to directory outputs to ensure accurate data display, conduct Excel-based reconciliation and validation of source-to-output data, and support business initiatives through data analysis. Responsibilities include identifying implementation barriers, user acceptance testing of new systems, identifying and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes, and performing detailed analysis on assigned projects. The role also involves recommending potential business solutions, assisting with implementation, identifying ways to enhance performance management and operational reports related to new business implementation processes, and developing/incorporating organizational best practices into business applications. Additionally, the analyst will lead problem-solving and coordination efforts between various business units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of business process or data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Experience with data mapping, validation, or configurable outputs highly preferred
  • Experience with identifying, documenting, and resolving display or mapping discrepancies preferred

  • Project management experience preferred
