About The Position

Centene is seeking a Business Analyst I to join their Value Realization team, focusing on claims analysis. This role involves performing various analyses and interpretations to align business needs with objectives, specifically conducting Value Realization analysis for medical claims initiatives. The analyst will use tools like Planview and Excel to track and estimate savings, analyze healthcare claims data to understand and forecast value, and support business initiatives by identifying implementation barriers and conducting user acceptance testing. The position also includes identifying and analyzing user requirements, improving existing processes, performing detailed project analysis, recommending solutions, and facilitating meetings. The role requires adherence to all company policies and standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
0-2 years of business process analysis or data analysis experience.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Value Realization analysis and reporting related to healthcare affordability, Payment Integrity, Cost Containment, or medical cost optimization initiatives.
Experience using value realization tools (e.g., Planview or comparable portfolio/value tracking platforms).
Experience with Healthcare Claims including medical, pharmacy, or ancillary claims.
Project management experience.

Responsibilities

Perform various analysis and interpretation to link business needs and objectives for assigned function.
Perform Value Realization analysis for medical claims initiatives leveraging the Planview tool and Excel to track and estimate savings by initiative.
Analyze Healthcare claims data to understand value and forecast future value.
Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of new systems.
Identify and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes.
Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects, recommend potential business solutions and assist with implementation.
Facilitate meetings and lead projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
