About The Position

As we continue investing in mobile, web, and internal applications, we need a Business Analyst who can bridge operational needs with technology solutions and drive the delivery of products that create measurable business value. This role sits at the intersection of operations, technology, and user experience. You will help shape the digital tools that support daily business execution, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the experience of both internal users and customers. Success in this position means identifying opportunities for improvement, translating business needs into clear product requirements, ensuring high-quality feature delivery, and driving adoption of technology solutions that support Roadrunner's growth strategy. Your work will directly influence operational performance, employee productivity, and the evolution of our digital product portfolio.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, product support, or related functions within trucking, logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments.
  • Experience supporting mobile applications, web platforms, or operational software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis, requirements documentation, and solution design.
  • Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or iterative product development environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and organization.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, Atlassian Jira, or similar project and work management platforms.
  • Familiarity with mobile application development lifecycles and web-based technologies.
  • Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams, and functional specifications.
  • Understanding of testing methodologies, quality assurance practices, and release management processes.
  • Working knowledge of modern software development tools, technologies, and delivery frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Digital Product Execution: Partner with stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver mobile, web, and internal application enhancements. Translate business objectives, operational challenges, and user feedback into actionable product requirements and feature specifications. Collaborate closely with development teams throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery through release and continuous improvement. Manage feature scope, priorities, and release readiness to ensure successful product outcomes. Help deliver digital solutions that increase operational efficiency and support Roadrunner's strategic business objectives.
  • Lead Business Analysis and Requirements Management: Gather, document, analyze, and refine business requirements from operational and functional stakeholders. Clarify change requests and ensure sufficient information is available to support project planning and development efforts. Create detailed process flows, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria. Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies that may impact project success. Serve as a trusted partner between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Improve Systems, Processes, and User Experience: Evaluate current workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and process enhancements. Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive and effective digital experiences. Partner with operations teams to understand real-world challenges and develop practical solutions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of product development methodologies, standards, and tools. Champion a culture of innovation, usability, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure Product Quality and Adoption: Execute functional testing and validate complex system changes to ensure quality, accuracy, and business readiness. Document test scenarios, expected outcomes, and acceptance results. Participate in release validation and post-deployment support activities. Conduct demonstrations, training sessions, and knowledge-transfer activities for end users. Support change management efforts by helping users successfully adopt new functionality and processes.
  • Influence Business Performance Through Collaboration: Build strong relationships across Operations, Technology, Customer Experience, and Leadership teams. Facilitate productive discussions that align stakeholders around business objectives and product priorities. Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and business-focused manner. Support data-driven decision-making by identifying opportunities and recommending practical solutions. Act as a key contributor to Roadrunner's ongoing digital modernization initiatives.
