About The Position
This role requires a Business Analyst with experience in commercial healthcare and state Medicaid payer system integration. The consultant will be responsible for understanding and navigating the Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) and potentially other healthcare insurance systems. The position is for a contractor who must provide their own equipment, with access to necessary systems provided via a virtual desktop.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field
- 7+ years of experience in commercial healthcare
- 3+ years of experience in State Medicaid payer system integration and delivery
- Familiarity with Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA)
Nice To Haves
- General Subject Matter Expertise related to Medicaid or other healthcare insurance (project or operations)
- MMIS experience (project or operations)
- Microsoft Office Project / Project Server
