About The Position

Cryopak is seeking a Business Analyst & Planning Lead to support and optimize planning activities related to MRP, materials management, and production scheduling. This role combines analytical expertise with hands-on planning responsibilities and leadership in training and developing new team members. You will ensure accurate material availability, efficient production scheduling, and continuous improvement of planning processes across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in business analysis within manufacturing, supply chain, or operations.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP systems, materials planning, and production scheduling.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and data tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Bilingual (English & French) — required due to collaboration with Quebec and France teams.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business processes related to MRP, inventory, production scheduling, and supply chain operations.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to workflows and ERP/MRP configurations.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to support planning accuracy and operational performance.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for shortages, delays, and planning variances.
  • Translate operational needs into actionable system or process changes.
  • Lead daily and long-term planning activities using ERP/MRP systems.
  • Maintain planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, reorder points, BOM accuracy).
  • Coordinate material availability to support production and customer demand.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with capacity and priorities.
  • Monitor and resolve planning exceptions, shortages, and supply risks.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and engineering teams.
  • Analyze demand trends, inventory levels, and supply chain risks.
  • Lead onboarding and training for new planners and analysts.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, training materials, and process documentation.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship during onboarding.
  • Evaluate new employees’ performance and development needs.
  • Support cross-training and backfill planning.
