About The Position

GovCIO is looking for an Organizational Business Process Analyst who can work closely with customers and business process teams to identify current business processes and updates to the process to aid in the organizational change and system development planning and requirements. This position is mostly remote, but may occasionally require going into DC to the customer’s location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience (or commensurate experience)
  • Public Trust Clearance Required
  • Proficiency in MS Visio or similar tool to document business process
  • Ability to quickly learn system and processes from a business level
  • Experience in creating training materials such as guides, FAQs, briefings, and wikis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous work streams
  • Ability to work independently when needed
  • General-logic knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily the ability to program

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Business Process Notation
  • Technical knowledge on AI or similar modern tools and techniques
  • Six Sigma or other similar process improvement experience
  • Some exposure to Organizational Change Management

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the business owners and product owners across various integrated systems to document “As Is” and “To Be” process flows.
  • Collaborate with the Organization Change Communications lead on the team on change management materials, guides, and communications as needed.
  • Analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
  • Interface between systems architects/programmers and users located in a specialized area to ensure that information technology designs meet the needs of the end users within an organization.
