Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation to include process modeling.
- Minimum of 5 years developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development project(s).
- Minimum of 2 years working directly with senior management in facilitating discussions to determine strategy, develop road maps and/or gain consensus to resolve opposing positions.
- Minimum of 2 years working on projects developing/implementing IT solutions for public use.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years supporting the development of or compliance to statement of work and/or other work agreements/contracts.
- Minimum of 1 year working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations.
- Bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities
- Be the liaison between DTMB and the project stakeholders.
- Provide expert facilitation and elicitation and process modeling to help develop strategy and requirements for planned enhancements and technology updates on a public facing application used to communicate current availability of burn permits in Michigan counties.
- Serve as a critical member of the DTMB Agency Services Business Analyst team.
- Participate in various related work requests for DNR.
- Contribute to the operational activities of the BA team.
- Customer service and being a champion to ease Agency compliance with DTMB policies and practices are key performance expectations for this person.
- Quickly gain a working understanding of applicable constraints and enablers.
- Help DNR navigate those constraints and enablers for the success of projects and work requests.
- Build strong relationships with project stakeholders.
- Quickly come up to speed on new assignments.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and/or direction.
