About The Position

The Business Analyst 2 leads assigned projects for the Underwriting and Claims departments at Primerica. The Analyst takes an active role in design and development of solutions within the business unit using some third-party applications. The Business Analyst 3 is expected to be extremely adaptable and have the ability to work on multiple projects and systems concurrently. This is a hybrid work position. Open to local candidates only able to report directly to the Duluth, GA Home Office. The salary range for this role is $70k - $80k.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree, MIS degree preferred, or equivalent business experience
  • 3-5 years progressive analysis or information systems experience
  • 2 years experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent business and technical experience
  • Experience using and developing in a Low Code environment such as Firelight, Nautilus, On-Base, Pega, or similar
  • Ability to read, create, classify, and document business rules in a variety of languages (C#, HTML, VB, etc.) is a plus
  • In depth understanding of if / then statements and loops are essential
  • Ability to work on-site and remote
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, verbal and written skills
  • SQL or MS Access database experience is a plus
  • Jira knowledge/experience is a plus
  • Ability to work with programmers, coordinators, technical support staff, internal and external department management and vendors
  • Ability to work with extreme time sensitivity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks within specified time frames
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple tasks and systems simultaneously
  • Advanced MS Office skills

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, and implements projects in Low Code environments
  • Acts as SME for Third Party applications
  • Writes detailed project documentation including business requirements, functional requirements, and technical specifications
  • Leads and directs user testing
  • Works with internal teams and third-party vendors to complete projects
  • Troubleshoots applications and provides production support
  • Maintains enhancement and backlog list
