About The Position

Level Ground’s business development team supports a co-operative, communicative, forward-thinking environment where hard work, care and continuous improvement are valued. The Business Administration & Experience Manager supports Level Ground’s recurring financial, administrative, employee and business-system processes while acting as a leader and champion for the experience of customers and staff engaging with the company. This role improves how people interact with Level Ground and serves as a connector across departments to create a consistent, thoughtful and values-driven experience for customers, employees and external partners.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business administration, bookkeeping/accounting administration, office/operations management or a related role
  • Experience supervising, coaching or leading others
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage recurring deadlines across multiple processes
  • Comfort with accounting/ERP and business systems
  • Strong communication skills across phone, email and in-person interactions
  • Service-oriented, problem-solving mindset and sound judgment around confidential information

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with payroll, benefits or grant administration is an asset
  • Experience documenting and improving processes or standard operating procedures is an asset
  • Understanding and experience in a food service, coffee, CPG, hospitality or manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Produce customer statements and maintain pricing schedules and customer information
  • Review credit holds and support timely resolution of customer account questions
  • Maintain recurring sales/broker reporting and calculate commissions
  • Support onboarding of new customers while improving the experience for customers and sales partners
  • Coordinate accounts payable, corporate credit cards and routine banking administration
  • Reconcile designated accounts and pending payments and coordinate grant payment tracking
  • Support payroll, RRSP and compliance administration, following procedures set by CFO
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, departures, benefits, records and system access
  • Ensure employees receive clear information and timely support
  • Improve onboarding and the administrative experience for staff
  • Maintain corporate records, procedures, calendars and documentation
  • Track recurring administrative and compliance deadlines
  • Coordinate with banks, benefits providers and external partners, and support company-wide administrative systems
  • Identify gaps between departments and move issues toward resolution
  • Lead three direct reports: Set clear priorities and monitor performance, Foster a collaborative, service-focused team environment
  • Perform other organizational duties as assigned
