About The Position

Kennebec Valley Community College (KVCC) is seeking a Part-Time Business Administration Adjunct Instructor to teach both in-person and online classes. Possible fall courses include BUS 101 Principles of Business, BUS 218 Small Business Entrepreneurship, CPT 115 Technology for Business, and ECO 132 Personal Finance and Investing. In-person courses require daytime availability, while online courses may require some virtual meetings in the evenings. The successful candidate must be available for both teaching modalities.

Requirements

  • MBA or MS in a related field required.
  • MOS certification preferred for CPT 115.
  • 3-5 years teaching experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Brightspace learning management system (LMS) desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, for ALL courses.
  • Ability to teach effectively across in-person and online modalities using instructional approaches that support students with varied backgrounds and learning preferences.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience teaching in a community college setting or with adult/non-traditional students.
  • Strong written, verbal, and technological skills.

Responsibilities
