About The Position

The Bus Person is responsible for proper stocking and maintaining the outlet side stations with necessary supplies, and clearing and setting tables in designated stations. This is a Part-Time position. Essential Duties include familiarizing with service standards for the restaurant, especially table setups, beverage service, and pre-busing of tables. The role involves cleaning and resetting tables according to established procedures and sanitation guidelines, stocking service stations with items like glasses, cups, and silverware, and maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, floors, carpets, and service stations. The Bus Person will monitor and ensure the cleanliness of all place settings, tabletops, seats, and floors, and will not leave money or guest checks on tables. Customer service duties such as beverage and plate service may be performed, along with communicating with the host/hostess for seating needs and guest service issues. Various stock supply duties are required to maintain par levels of all equipment and dining supplies. The role also requires compliance with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls, and government rules and regulations. Attending periodic meetings and training sessions, promoting positive public and employee relations, and presenting oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times are also part of the responsibilities. Other duties as assigned will be performed.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
  • Three (3) years’ related work experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to compute complex mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
  • Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
  • Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
