About The Position
The Bus Monitor is responsible for assisting children on the school bus, both to and from school, and monitoring their safety and behavior. Training will be provided by the JCPS Transportation Department before starting. The position is a 10-month, part-time role, working less than 19.5 hours per week for the 26-27 school year only. Times may vary depending on the assigned route.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and assist students
- Strong interpersonal skills in relating to students

- First Aid/CPR skills
Responsibilities
- Assist children on the school bus both to and from school
- Monitor safety and behavior of students on the bus
- Attend required training provided by the JCPS Transportation Department
