Bus Fueler
About The Position
Transit Team, Inc. is hiring a Bus Fueler in Maple Grove, Minnesota. The role helps ensure the fleet is ready to serve riders by fueling and positioning buses, cleaning vehicle interiors, maintaining facility and garage cleanliness, and posting notices inside vehicles. The Bus Fueler works with other fuelers and follows established safety procedures. Additional tasks may be assigned and will be covered through training and materials. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at $18.00 per hour. Applicants must be able to complete a DOT physical and work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Transit Team describes itself as Minnesota’s largest paratransit provider and has provided service in the Twin Cities metropolitan area for more than 65 years.
Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Successfully complete a DOT physical.
- Ability to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Fuel and position buses in lots and garages.
- Clean vehicle interiors by removing trash, sweeping floors, and wiping down driver areas.
- Maintain facility and garage cleanliness.
- Post notices inside vehicles.
- Collaborate with other fuelers and follow established safety procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned and explained through training and materials.
