As a Bus Exp Plan & Admin Advisor within PNC's Physical Security Compliance Management team, you can be based in Pittsburgh PA, Cincinnati OH, Birmingham AL, Phoenix AZ or Dallas TX. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. The Bus Exp Plan & Admin Advisor collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve business planning methods. Executes key business initiatives and growth strategies and programs that will drive line of business objectives. The Bus Exp Plan & Admin Advisor understands business direction and needs and develops solutions, roadmaps and assessments of potential business impacts. Identifies and executes opportunities that add value to the business and to achieve business goals. Also, serves as subject matter resource and advocate that influences the implementation of best practices and strategic plans that meet business objectives. Physical Security is seeking a detail-oriented person to support strategic planning including M&A, risk management practices following PNC’s Risk Management Framework, and physical security standards, procedures, and policy management. This role will primarily focus on developing and implementing physical security governance, physical security standards/ policies, compliance adherence, and risk identification aligned with enterprise and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong background in compliance, governance, or risk management
  • Working knowledge or exposure to physical security systems and controls (e.g., alarm systems, surveillance, access control)
  • Experience documenting policies, standards, and procedures
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Teams and SharePoint
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Risk identification and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to balance compliance rigor with operational practicality
  • Collaborative approach across technical, business, and risk teams
  • 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
  • Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and maintain standards, policies, and procedures for Physical Security for various PNC assets
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise governance policies
  • Support merger and acquisition activities by assessing and integrating Physical Security standards and controls, developing M&A playbook, best practices, and lessons learned.
  • Identify, assess, document, and report risks related to physical security systems and infrastructure
  • Partner with risk and compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and internal controls
  • Support audits, reviews, and remediation efforts as needed
  • Provide oversight and governance support for physical security deployments within data center environments
  • Ensure adherence to established standards for security systems (e.g., burglar alarms, access controls, surveillance)
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of policies, standards, and operational processes
  • Drive consistency and clarity across physical security related documentation and governance artifacts
  • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives for physical security systems
  • Assist in developing long-term standards and frameworks that support scalability and compliance
  • Collaborates cross-functional teams to improve business planning methods.
  • Executes key line of business initiatives and growth strategies and programs that will drive line of business objectives.
