About The Position
Operates vehicles to transport patients, visitors, and staff between Robert Packer Hospital/The Guthrie Clinic and designated areas. Performs duties of hospital courier and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid CDL license
- Must have passenger endorsement
- Capable of reading written instructions and comprehending verbal instructions
Nice To Haves
- High school education or GED preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate hospital vehicles to transport passengers and materials
- Pick up and delivers passengers and materials in a timely manner
- Assist patients, staff, and visitors in entering and exiting vehicle if necessary
- Give directions upon request
- Comply with all state and local traffic regulations
- Inspect vehicle daily
- Maintain vehicle in safe operating condition
- Report all hazards to supervisor immediately
- Arrange for necessary repairs when supervisor unavailable
- Fuel vehicle as necessary
- Perform duties of hospital courier as required
