About The Position

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center in Lake Orion is looking for a caring and responsible Bus Driver to safely transport children in grades K-5 to and from their local elementary school. This is a regular, part-time position with a schedule of Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 9:30 am and 2:45 pm to 4:30 pm. The starting pay is $18 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid chauffeur's license (higher compensation for CDL holders)
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong reliability and communication skills
• Passion for supporting young children and families
• Punctual, organized with a positive attitude

Nice To Haves

• Experience transporting children preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children to and from school and activities
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Ensure children are properly secured and follow safety procedures
• Maintain route and transportation records
• Communicate professionally with families and teaching staff
• Keep the vehicle clean and organized
