Bus Driver – Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement
About The Position

The Workforce Inclusion Vehicle Operator Specialist- Bus Driver safely and effectively operates passenger vehicles to transport and assist people with disabilities to and from destinations. Employees in this job class operate multi-passenger vehicles, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain accurate and legible records and logs. This job class requires the ability to safely operate a passenger vehicle, navigate to various locations, and maintain related records.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Meet driving qualifications as defined by PRIDE Industries.
- Ability to operate passenger vehicle in accordance with a schedule.
- Ability to communicate effectively including listening, verbal, and written.
- Demonstrate ability to apply critical thinking to identify solutions to problems.
- Demonstrate basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and exercise flexibility.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid certification
Responsibilities
- Operate multi-passenger vehicle to safely transport individuals with disabilities to job sites and other destinations.
- Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle including securing wheelchair(s).
- Perform vehicle inspections and report any mechanical problems prior to departure.
- Communicate with dispatch personnel.
- Maintain accurate and legible records and logs as required.
- Performs duties and special projects as assigned.
