About The Position
The CDL Bus Driver is responsible for delivering and picking up blood mobiles at various blood drives. This role requires a variable PRN schedule, including weekends, for bloodmobile deliveries and pick-ups from our depot location to various blood drives. The driver will also perform courier duties, deliver extra supplies to drives, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures while supporting the company's quality goals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License and valid CDL Driver’s License with no major infractions
- Dependable transportation
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of the buses used by The Blood Connection
- Excellent customer services skills
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to follow SOP in a heavily FDA regulated environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors and co-workers
- Ability to work with all levels and in a diverse work environment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and peers
