About The Position
The Atrium at Navesink Harbor is seeking a Bus Driver to join their team. This role is responsible for providing safe, punctual, and courteous transportation for residents to and from various destinations including medical appointments, trips, and scheduled activities. The driver will ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and will keep detailed records of services provided and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities
- Perform daily driving assignments in community owned vehicles in a safe manner.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of the vehicle, maintain a maintenance log and report any hazardous conditions to supervisor.
- Refuel the vehicle.
- Maintain written records of transportation provided, billing for transportation services, transportation expenses, and vehicle maintenance.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding medical appointments and issues.
- Interpret safety procedures to residents and staff as they enter and leave the vehicle.
- Provide appropriate assistance to residents and visitors.
- Complete mail pickup and delivery.
- Always observe speed limits and maximum occupancy regulations.
