About The Position
The job of Bus Driver is done for the purpose/s of providing support within the student transportation services area with specific responsibilities for transporting students over scheduled routes and/or to/from field trips; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses. This job reports to designated administrator.
Requirements
- Graduation from High School OR General Education Development (GED) equivalent
- Six (6) months of experience in a job-related field
- Valid California Class B commercial driver's license with passenger and air brake endorsements
- Valid California School Bus Driver Certificate
- Valid School Bus Driver Medical Certificate
- Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification issued by an authorized agency
- Valid First Aid certification issued by an authorized agency
Nice To Haves
- Ability to speak, read or write a language in addition to English
