Requirements

Complete the on-line application in full, including all sections (education, work experience, and references).
Possess a CLASS C DRIVER'S LICENSE OR HIGHER.
Pass an Employee Entrance Evaluation requiring physical agility (reaching, stretching, twisting, turning, lifting, bending, etc.).
Pass a Controlled Substance Testing requirement.
Provide a K-4 DMV (Driving Record) printout (not needed at time of application).

Nice To Haves

Possess a Class B driver's license (District will assist with application process).

Responsibilities

Transport students safely and efficiently.
Operate a school bus in accordance with district policies and state regulations.
Maintain a clean and safe bus environment.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Follow assigned routes and schedules.
Assist students with boarding and alighting the bus.
Maintain discipline on the bus.
Complete necessary paperwork, such as time sheets and incident reports.
