Bus Driver - Martha & Mary Kids
About The Position
Martha & Mary Kids is seeking a professional Summer Program Bus Driver for a part-time position. This role involves the safe transportation of School-Age Summer Program children and staff to and from field trips using a 28-passenger bus. Drivers will also share responsibility for the supervision and safety of a small group of children at field trip destinations. The summer program runs from June 29th to August 21st, with variable hours depending on the trip schedule, averaging approximately 20 hours per week. Martha & Mary is a long-standing non-profit, faith-based organization dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care for children, seniors, and families in Greater Kitsap. Requirements
- Minimum of 25 years of age.
- Possess a current Washington State CDL/Class C license.
- Have proof of personal auto insurance.
- Minimum of 2 years bus driving experience with young passengers.
- Knowledge of school-age children and how to meet their needs.
- Demonstrated ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
- CPR/AED, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogen certifications.
