Requirements
- “C” level commercial driver’s license with no violations on record
- Ability to drive for extended periods of time, up to 2 hours
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Valid CPR/First Aid certificate (Chateau will pay for training if not certified)
- Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Care Aid (Chateau will pay for training if not certified)
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provided scheduled transportation for residents
- Perform daily pre-trip inspection of vehicle and arrange regular vehicle maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of vehicle
- Stock and maintain the first aid kit and keep on-board emergency information sheets up to date
- Report any vehicle concerns to the Life Enrichment Director and Executive Director
