About The Position
Provide transportation for residents on company sponsored activities and/or medical appointments, and assists the activities team with setting up and conducting activities and programming for residents. Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 Hourly
Requirements
- High school diploma or higher level of education
- Must be 21 year of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license, with a driving record that is in good standing
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a driver for seniors is preferred
Responsibilities
- Drives residents to and from their assigned destination in a safe manner
- Ensures the vehicle is inspected before each use to ensure it is safe and clean prior to leaving the community
- Ensures preventive maintenance and all other maintenance required, it performed in a timely manner
- Verifies that all passengers and their equipment (wheelchairs, walkers) are safely secured prior to departure
- Keeps an accurate record of all inspections, maintenance, and resident attendance
- Assists in setting up tables/chairs within the community for resident activities
- Conducts activities and programming for residents
- Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled
- Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
