About The Position

The Arc Lexington is seeking a Bus Driver Coordinator to support drivers at the start of each shift by reviewing routes, monitoring road and weather conditions, and addressing any wellness or operational concerns. This role contributes to a safe and supportive environment for staff and the individuals served by assisting with training, driving assessments, daily administrative tasks, and required documentation. The Coordinator is responsible for maintaining vehicle inspections and regulatory compliance, ensuring safe, respectful, and properly secured transportation for all passengers, including those using wheelchairs. This position collaborates with multiple departments to deliver reliable transportation services, handles concerns professionally, and maintains accurate records for quality service delivery. Flexibility within a 40-hour workweek and basic computer proficiency are necessary.

Requirements

• A valid New York State driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class B license with Air Brake and Passenger endorsements.
• Must successfully pass and maintain a NYS DOT physical.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Flexibility within a 40-hour workweek.
