About The Position
The YMCA of Greenville is a dynamic and rapidly growing association that seeks to strengthen the community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Bus Driver will safely transport children and counselors to and from schools or field trips, and act as a role model in regards to promptness, manners, language, appearance and health.
Requirements
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- Possess a valid South Carolina Driver’s License with the ability to operate a 14 passenger mini-bus
Nice To Haves
- Preference given to those holding a valid CDL
Responsibilities
- Operate a 14 passenger mini-bus.
- Ensure the safety of passengers at all times while in a YMCA vehicle.
- Maintain equipment to ensure safety of participants.
- Communicate with appropriate supervisor any equipment needs.
- Return bus to appropriate place clean and free of belongings.
- Maintain accurate records at all times including trip and mileage logs.
- Adhere to policies related to boundaries with consumers
- Attend/complete required abuse risk management training
- Adhere to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising consumers
- Follow mandated reporting requirements
- Adhere to job specific abuse risk management responsibilities
