At First Student, the Charter Coordinator quotes and books all outside charter work throughout the Region. This role centralizes and efficiently distributes the work to the appropriate location/branch. Requirements

• At least 3-5 years experience
• Industry experience
• Prior customer service experience
• Charter booking experience
• Computer experience a must
• School Bus transportation experience
• Incumbent must be able to move about the office and between floors; utilize standard office office equipment; access filing system/cabinets; and communicate effectively and efficiently in person or by telephone.

Nice To Haves

• Little or no travel required, but meeting with local customers may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Increases Outside Charter Revenue.
• Assists in customer quoting and pricing.
• Distributes and dispatches the new work to the most appropriate branch or location.
• Increases customer base.
• Initializes marketing strategies.
• Determines, sets, and meets budget goals.
