Bus Aide
About The Position
You can get out on the open road with Arc Herkimer! As a Bus Aide, you are the first face people with disabilities see in the morning, and the last face in the afternoon! You will assist passengers as necessary in boarding and departing vehicles and to and from homes, assist passengers with the use of safety restraints, and assist passengers as needed with medical and safety issues, providing behavioral intervention per agency policy and passenger plan. You will also complete documentation, communicate with passenger's treatment teams, and maintain knowledge of passenger's service plans. You may be requested to drive an agency vehicle. You can see the gorgeous Mohawk Valley daily, with trips from Schuyler to Little Falls, Poland to Richfield Springs, and more!
Requirements
- 18+ years old
- Agency approvable Driver's License preferred.
Nice To Haves
- high school diploma or GED preferred
Responsibilities
