Bus Aide
About The Position
We are seeking dependable and caring Bus Aides to support the safe transportation of students. This is a part-time role with morning and afternoon shifts, ideal for candidates seeking consistent hours with a midday break. Schedule: AM Shift: Approximately 6:30ā8:15 AM, depending on route PM Shift: Approximately 1:30ā4:00 PM, depending on route Midday Break: Unpaid break between shifts Monthly Meetings: Required staff meetings (approximately 2 hours) Training Available ā Grow With Us Interested in becoming a driver? We support Bus Aides who want to advance by helping them work toward required certifications and driver roles. š This position remains open until filled.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to pass background check, physical, and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Assisting students during boarding and unloading
- Supporting students with special needs when required
- Monitor student behavior and help maintain a clean, safe, respectful environment
- Communicating professionally with students, staff, and parents
- Report delays, incidents/accidents, or emergencies promptly
