The Burner Systems Operator will operate, set up, and adjust all machines and equipment in a computer-controlled manufacturing system. This role involves performing a variety of associated functions to maintain continuous operation of the system and ensure conformance to production and quality standards. The operator will monitor instruments, regulate or shut down equipment during emergencies, draw samples for quality control tests, and record operating data. They will also confer with technical and supervisory personnel to report or resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency, or product quality. Maintaining and verifying current quality assurance measures, assisting in the implementation of new procedures, and operating equipment as per SOP are key aspects of the role. Additionally, the operator must keep the work area clean, utilize required PPE in a high dust environment, help ensure workplace safety, follow safety protocols for mobile equipment, and report any accidents or damages immediately. The position requires availability for assigned shifts, including scheduled overtime, and working with fellow employees towards continuous improvement and teamwork.
