Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
May require industry-related certifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural steel fabrication or related field preferred
Skilled in heavy structural steel fabrication
Ability to set up and operate burn tables efficiently
Proficient in processing and cutting plate steel
Ability to read and follow specifications and measurements
Experience operating hoists and overhead cranes
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Basic shop math and measurement skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Knowledge of shop safety procedures and fabrication standards
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Travel between facilities as needed
May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.
May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver.
