About The Position

This position will be vital to the business's day-to-day and long-term goals. The individual needs to be highly motivated and able to work in a flexible work environment. This position will primarily be responsible for fuel deliveries and supporting new tank installations. Customer service is emphasized here, as this is a key role for Borealis.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma
• Class 1 or 3 driver’s licence with Air Brake endorsement
• Bulk handling, bottle fill, PTI recognized courses (Borealis will provide training), TDG
• Knowledge of the LPG/fuel industry
• Proficient with computers and office software
• Exceptional communication and time management skills
• Multitasking and the ability to work with teams
• Communication and self-organization skills, a hands-on mentality
• Attention to detail and a self-starter
• Fit for duty and physically able to perform the above duties safely

Nice To Haves

• Solid knowledge of the Alberta Oil and Gas industry is an asset

Responsibilities

• Support Borealis’ vision for LPG service excellence in the Yukon
• Operate the bulk truck for fuel deliveries, which includes: climbing in and out of the truck safely multiple times per day (up to 30 or more); pulling the delivery hose to tanks up to 150 feet away in snow, up and down hills if required; lifting and installing heavy-duty tire chains (approx. 60 lbs) if required in the winter; interface with MOGO in the bulk truck
• Support the development of routes in MOGO with the Dispatch Coordinator
• Assist in the installation of new Borealis tanks when required and operate the crane truck, which includes: climbing on the crane truck deck to install and remove rigging; safely operate the crane (experience and training may be required)
• Evacuate the fuel in competitor tanks (customer-owned fuel) and return tanks to competitors' yards when required
