About The Position

This role oversees all inbound product to the Distribution Center, ensuring accurate and efficient receiving while maintaining organized and systematic picking processes. The position is responsible for leading daily operations, enforcing company policies and procedures, and supervising the team responsible for execution.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds
  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency Technology, SU Counter Balances, Order Pickers, Turret Trucks, and Walkie Riders
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the aptitude to communicate effectively in both individual and group settings regardless of audience
  • Must be results driven, and take appropriate steps to achieve goals while taking ownership of situations as needed
  • Proven ability to deliver timely, accurate work product and demonstrate good follow up and follow through

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily workflow across Bulk Storage Picking and Receiving to meet established productivity and service level targets.
  • Provide hands-on leadership by working alongside Equipment Operators and Receivers to support operations and drive performance.
  • Monitor, track, and communicate daily departmental activities, metrics, and issues to the Senior Manager, Inbound Operations.
  • Generate and analyze productivity reports for Equipment Operators and Receivers to ensure performance expectations are met.
  • Oversee inbound floor inventory pending receipt, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve receiving issues; ensure completion of daily receiving audits.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Address performance concerns and document employee issues in accordance with HR policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized Bulk Storage area in compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure all receipts and inventory movements are accurately and promptly recorded in the WMS.
  • Manage staffing levels to align with daily workload and operational demands.
  • Train, onboard, and develop new team members within the department.
  • Partner with Maintenance to ensure proper functionality and upkeep of all equipment, including forklifts, walkie riders, turret trucks, order pickers, pallet wrappers, and scales.
  • Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned by the Senior Manager, Inbound Operations.
