About The Position

This role is critical to the success of the Bulk Shipping team getting orders shipped from LFC. This individual will facilitate the cross-functional coordination with domestic and foreign planners and the Bulk Shipping team to ensure orders are properly prioritized to meet the business needs and service agreements. This individual will ensure there is constant communication with all parties to ensure requirements are being met. This individual must possess a high aptitude for verbal and written communication, as well as a keen understanding of Manhattan WMS. Available shift: 8 am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.

Requirements

2+ year college degree or equivalent.
2+ years warehouse experience.
Must be proficient in English communication (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) for safety and other purposes.
Advanced knowledge of Manhattan, RF devices, and SAP preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competency on Bulk Shipping processes.
Strong Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to perform various intermediate excel functions.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for at least 8 hours.
Time management and organizational skills.
High ability to multitask and maintain an efficient workflow concurrently.
Attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on workload and customer needs.
During work hours, punctuality and time management are important.

Responsibilities

Work with Planners on order prioritization.
Regularly monitor "Ready to Wave" queue in Manhattan.
Ensure inventory allocations will be successful by coordinating inventory status with necessary parties.
Wave (allocate) orders in Manhattan.
Assign due date to orders.
Prioritize picking tasks based on due date and size.
Coordinate with QA to verify product is released.
Update daily numbers for management review.
Track and update order databases.
Monitor tasks to assure product is being pulled in the proper order.
Investigate inventory discrepancies as it relates to pulled inventory.
Create & update the Bulk Market Schedule.
Work with domestic/international planners on prioritization for big events (transitions, year-end PI, convention, holidays, etc.).
Fiercely promote department and company initiatives.
Adherence and implementation of lean and 5S principles.
Drive continuous improvement of department processes, systems, and metrics.
Provide support to the Bulk Shipping floor as business needs require, assisting with daily operations to maintain productivity and workflow.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and safely operate department machinery and equipment while following all safety procedures and operational standards.
