Bulk Packaging Supervisor, Operations
About The Position
Natural Factors is seeking a mechanically inclined Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team in the beautiful Okanagan. We are looking for a collaborative leader who is passionate about safety, quality, and employee development. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and inspire their team to achieve operational excellence. This night shift leadership role works closely with other operational leaders in an integrated manufacturing environment and is responsible for supporting team performance, productivity, and employee engagement.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations management, or supply chain management
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or people leadership experience
- Minimum 1 year of night shift work experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop employees
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Experience identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience working in a manufacturing or food/pharmaceutical production environment
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily Bulk Packaging operations on the night shift
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards
- Coordinate staffing, workflow priorities, and resource allocation
- Coach, develop, and support team members to achieve performance objectives
- Ensure employees receive appropriate training and ongoing development
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and operational leaders to achieve department goals
- Support and maintain compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
