Bulk Packaging Assistant - 1st Shift (4am start time)
About The Position
This position is a full-time role on the 1st shift, starting at 4 am. The Bulk Packaging Assistant will be responsible for completing metal detection of packaged finished goods, stacking finished goods onto pallets in the correct pattern, and assisting machine operators with changeover procedures. This includes cleaning and sanitizing responsibilities, metal detection, screens, and magnets. The role also involves ensuring the work team has proper packaging materials and paperwork for the next production run. The assistant will learn to package finished goods into bags or boxes on all lines, operate a chain hoist and pallet jack, read scales for proper fill weight, and feed bags through a bag sealer or tie liner and tape boxes. A key responsibility is performing frequent cleaning of the work area to ensure a safe food environment and keeping the work area and all tools clean. Other duties as assigned may also be part of the role.

- Bending, lifting, standing on a consistent basis during workday

- Perform frequent cleaning of work area to ensure a safe food environment
- Keep work area clean including all tools needed for the job
