OVERVIEW The Bulk Loading Clerk is responsible for assisting in verifying, compiling and coordinating documents and recording information on all outgoing rail shipments in an industrial food facility.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 3 years in a shipping/receiving position in an industrial facility
- Must have experience with checking invoices and orders for incoming and outgoing shipments in a freight department
- Must have excellent time-management and coordination skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed
- Effective listener and efficient problem solver
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent data-entry skills are required
- Ability to supervise worker activities in bulk loading
- Knowledge of a computerized Warehouse Management System
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SAP is preferred
Responsibilities
- Checks invoices and orders to ensure they are recorded accurately for outgoing shipments.
- Works closely with supply chain, quality, and operations to ensure any problems, damages or errors are corrected. This will involve recording data appropriate to the task, including accounting records.
- Responsible for checking as well as the preparation of documentation such as work orders, shipping orders, Bills of ladings, quality inspections, and training reports.
- Responsible for reporting outbound shipments to supply chain and operations
- Attend meetings and complies reports as needed
- Verify employee schedules in UKG
- Verify Master Sanitation schedule for completion
