About The Position

The Bulk Minor Operator follows scheduled recipes and supplies ingredients for each recipe to the Mixer Operator. This role requires accurate and consistent weighing of all chemicals. The operator will transfer material from bulk bags or "supersacks" to smaller paper or poly bags to a precise weight, typically targeting 30-50lbs. This position is responsible for weighing materials, proper inventory control of raw materials and finished products, labeling skids and boxes, filling out applicable paperwork, and performing monthly inventory counts. The role also involves following all safety procedures and guidelines, assisting in modifying and updating procedures, and operating a forklift for various functions. Close visual work is required, and general computer skills are necessary.

Requirements

One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Willing to work overtime including weekends.
Close visual work required.
Knowledge of general computer skills.
Attention to detail.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Necessity for attention to detail.
The ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
Capable of maintaining quality control by monitoring production output.
Ability to identify any issues with the product or process.
