About The Position

The Bulk Minor Operator is responsible for following scheduled recipes and supplying ingredients to the Mixer Operator. This role requires accurate and consistent weighing of all chemicals. The position operates during the 3rd shift, from 10:45 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday. The role offers growth potential within a team-oriented environment and a dynamic culture.

Requirements

One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
High School or GED preferred.
Willing to work overtime including weekends.
Close visual work required.
Knowledge of general computer skills.
Attention to detail.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Follow scheduled recipes and supply ingredients to the Mixer Operator.
Weigh all chemicals accurately and consistently.
Transfer material from bulk bags or supersacks to smaller paper or poly bags to a precise weight (typically 30-50lbs).
Communicate with additional staff members.
Responsible for weighing of materials.
Proper inventory control of raw materials and finished products.
Properly label skids, boxes and fill out any applicable paperwork.
Perform monthly inventory count.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, and assist in modifying and updating procedures.
Operate a forklift for various functions.
Maintain quality control by monitoring production output.
Identify any issues with the product or process.
